What warranty and aftercare does Ting Diamond offer for diamond jewellery in Hong Kong?

Every Ting Diamond piece comes with free lifetime inspection and ultrasonic cleaning at our Tsim Sha Tsui showroom, and wear-related damage is repaired at cost price. The HK$500 setting fee (HK$700 for 1.50–2.99ct, HK$1,000 for 3ct and above) includes one free ring resize and one free engraving. GIA-certified pieces in good condition under HK$200,000 can be upgraded within 180 days at 30% off, and non-custom, non-engraved items can be exchanged within 7 working days (no cash refund).

Resizing

Planning to send a diamond ring as surpirsing gift, but having no idea the exact ring size of your lovers? No worries, we understand your concern and the mounting fee HK$500* already includes 1 free ring resizing services!

Engraving

You may create an unique gift and memories for your beloved by adding your words on the ring. The mounting fee HK$500* already includes 1 engraving service!

Permanent maintenance

All of the diamond jewelry we sell are high quality and high quality control, and every item we provide to our guests is of good quality. We will provide permanent free product inspection services, ultrasonic cleaning services, customers are welcome to visit our stores at any time. Guests can also use a soft toothbrush and neutral detergent to clean themselves, in order to keep the new shiny jewelry. If the product is damaged as a result of wearing time, we also promise that it will be repaired only for the guests at cost.

Diamond upgrade

We understand that guests will have the chance to upgrade their diamonds in the future. Therefore, we have set up a GIA certificate diamond exchange upgrade. Guests only need to wear the GIA certificate (good condition), GIA certificate and our original documents. At 180 Days can enjoy 30% replacement upgrade offer. The upgraded diamonds only need to be repurchased with diamonds.

Engagement ring light box

All diamond rings will be attached to the light box for free. When the light box is open, the diamond will be more glittering and striking under the spotlight effect.

Is aftercare really free for life?

Yes. Inspection and ultrasonic cleaning of any Ting Diamond piece are free for life; visit the showroom any time. If the piece is damaged through years of wear, we repair it at cost price only.

Is resizing or engraving included?

The setting fee of HK$500 (for diamonds up to 1.49ct; HK$700 for 1.50–2.99ct; HK$1,000 for 3ct and above) already includes one free resize and one free engraving. Bring the ring and your receipt.

Can I upgrade my diamond later?

Within 180 days of purchase you can trade a GIA-certified piece in good condition (under HK$200,000) for an upgrade at 30% off. Bring the GIA certificate and the original Ting Diamond receipt; the new piece must be worth at least the value of the piece traded in.

Can I return or exchange a ring?

Non-custom and non-engraved items can be exchanged within 7 working days of purchase if unused and returned with original packaging, certificates and receipt. We do not offer cash refunds. Custom, engraved or resized items and loose diamonds certified in the customer's name are not eligible.
