1. Information we collect

We collect only what we need to serve you:

• Account and sign-in data: if you sign in with Google, Facebook or WeChat, we receive your name, email address, profile picture and the provider's account ID. If you register with email, we store your name, email address and a hashed password.
• Order and enquiry data: name, phone number, email address, delivery address and country, the items you order, and the messages you send us by form, email or WhatsApp.
• Payment data: card and wallet payments are processed by Stripe and our other payment providers. We never see or store your full card number.
• Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed and cookies, collected through standard web server logs and Google Analytics.

2. How we use your information

We use personal data to:

• create and secure your account and let you sign in;
• process, deliver and provide after-sales service for your orders, diamond certificates and exchanges;
• reply to your enquiries and arrange showroom appointments;
• send order confirmations and service emails;
• detect fraud, keep the website secure, and understand how the website is used so we can improve it.

3. Google user data

When you choose "Sign in with Google", we request only your basic profile (name, email address and profile picture). We use it solely to create and identify your account on Ting Diamond. We do not use Google user data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not transfer it to others except as needed to run your account and orders. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. The same applies to data we receive from Facebook and WeChat sign-in.

4. Who we share data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who process it for us:

• Stripe and other payment providers, to take payment;
• Mailgun, to send transactional email;
• Amazon Web Services and our hosting providers, to store files and run the website;
• Google Analytics, to measure website traffic;
• couriers and insurers, to deliver your order;
• authorities, where we are required to do so by law.

5. Cookies

We use cookies to keep you signed in, remember your language, currency and shopping cart, and to measure traffic. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some features, such as the shopping cart, may then stop working.

6. Retention and security

We keep order records for as long as needed for warranty, certificate verification and legal or tax obligations, and keep account data until you ask us to delete it. We protect data with encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls and hashed passwords, but no online service can be guaranteed completely secure.

7. Your rights

You may ask us to confirm whether we hold your personal data, to give you a copy, to correct it, or to delete your account and the data that is not required for legal record-keeping. You may also withdraw consent to marketing messages at any time. Contact us using the details below and we will respond within 40 days.

8. Children

Our website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version is always on this page, with the date it was last updated shown at the top.
